Urogallo shows you who is around you right now, which places are nearby and what plans are coming together. Say hello, meet up and chat without leaving your neighbourhood.
Open the app and see the people within about 300 metres, in the streets around you. Nobody from another city, nobody from months ago.
Everything happens just around the corner: the people near you, the bars you are in, this week's plans and the chats that come out of them.
Who is nearby, right now
See who is in your area with their photo and what they say about themselves. When someone leaves, they disappear. To talk, you say hello first and the other person accepts.
Check in by scanning a QR code
Bars, cafés and gyms keep their code at the counter. Scan it when you arrive and see who else is inside and the place chat, for as long as you stay.
Plans with an expiry date
Padel on Wednesday, board games on Friday or dog walks. Whoever creates the group decides how many people fit and when it ends. To join, you have to be nearby.
And then, talk
Once you accept each other, the chat works like any other. If you make a mistake, you have 15 minutes to edit or delete.
Put your code on the counter and your customers will see who else is inside. You see how many people come in and can pin a notice in the chat.
Only the area you are in is stored. Nobody sees exactly where you are.
Nobody can keep writing to you until you accept.
What is said in a place deletes itself after 12 hours.
You can edit or delete a message for 15 minutes.
Your history of place visits is deleted after that time.
After 2 days your profile, photos and messages are removed. You can download your data first.
An app to see who is near you right now and talk to them: neighbours, people in the same bar or in a plan coming together around you.
No. Only the area of about 150 metres you are in is stored. Your exact position is used to work out that area and is never stored.
Anyone nearby can send you a first message. Until you accept it, they cannot keep writing to you. If you do not reply, the hello disappears after 24 hours.
By scanning the venue's code with the app. You have to be there: your location is checked when you scan it.
Any group nearby, if there is room. Whoever creates the group decides how many people fit, when it ends and can remove anyone.
Urogallo is only for people over 18.
